The aim of the present research work is to explore the relationship between job satisfaction and human capital creation in Indian context.Data was collected from 186 middle and senior level employees from organizations having turnover more than 100 crores per annum. Random sampling was used for the collection of data. Some online-filled questionnaires were also considered for the study. Descriptive statistic mean was used to find out the level of job satisfaction and human capital creation in organizations. Correlation and Stepwise regression analysis (Backward) was performed on data to find out the association and prediction value of job satisfaction toward human capital creation. After employing the statistical tools on collected data, job satisfaction and human capital creation level were found moderately high in India. Job satisfaction and human capital creation also correlate significantly. The main finding of the study reveals that job satisfaction is a significant predictor of human capital creation and pay, promotion, reward and co-worker satisfaction are the most contributing dimensions of job satisfaction towards human capital creation. This study will contribute in the existing literature pool of job satisfaction and human capital creation. This study will also enhance the understanding of job satisfaction and human capital creation in Indian organizations. The main constraint of this study was sample size; increased sample size may provide more fruitful results.The present study is novel in terms of exploring the job satisfaction-human capital linkage.
